Adelaide University Boat Club: Circular Replies from World War One

Celebrating 140 years in 2021, the Adelaide University Boat Club has begun a 10-year project to celebrate its history since its foundation in 1881. Beginning with the replies to a 1916 circular from the University‚Äôs Registrar, this webinar investigates which members of the club enlisted in World War I and what happened to them while they were away. Join AUBC alumna and heritage practitioner Grace Blake who will launch the Adelaide University Boat Club’s World War I digital honour roll at this event. This project is supported by a grant from The English-Speaking Union (Victoria Branch). Bookings essential.
