Activism through history has taken many forms, from face-to-face conversations to large-scale protests, from peaceful vigils to violent confrontations, from pickets and petitions to kiss-ins and craftivism. Growing numbers of young people are organising for social change. Activism Now demonstrates that political engagement matters as much now as it ever has. This exhibition features the voices and concerns of six young, self-identified women activists, confronting some of the harsh realities we face today and providing hope for a better future.
