Design your own house name plate (Alison De Backer)

Academy Series: Design Your Own House Name Plate

House names were traditionally painted, carved or embossed in metal nameplates in a lettering style of the period. Design your own hand-painted house plate the traditional way. Learn more about the traditional art of letter writing and signwriting with Peter Foster, master signwriter, commercial art teacher, coach builder and wheelwright. Learn how to set hand-painted letters and the tools to complete the work. Beginners welcome! Please note that no paints will be used in this session but a follow up short course is planned for the completion of the original design. Bookings essential.
