A Fun Night of Irish Set Dancing: an Introduction and Participation

Irish Set Dancing is a fun energetic social dance style with a 200 year tradition from the Emerald Isle. Dance to lively music by live musicians playing Irish Jigs, Reels, Polkas and Hornpipes. Instructions will be given by demonstrating, walking through, and calling. Dancing is in a square set and is in a flat footed style. No leaping or high steps are used. Come and learn to what it is to do a jig, reel, polka and hornpipe step. Low heels flat comfortable shoes required.
