A Century of Change in Health: 1861–1961

The century between 1861 and 1961 in all areas of health and wellbeing saw changes that affected the Cornish mining community. See displays about how these changes occurred over the century in maternal health, the effect and management of waterborne diseases, chemist collections, medical practitioners and OH&S. Visit these displays at our Moonta Mines Museum, Moonta History Centre and Moonta Mines Railway.

There is a ramp at the Moonta Mines Museum and a ramp available to board the Moonta Mines Tourist Train. Other venues do not have wheelchair access.
