66 – The Story of Avant Garde

Discover the history of this significant Art Deco building, originating in the 1930s as an innovative used car showroom. Explore the space and the upstairs rooms where you can see historical photos and step back to when it was a quirky furniture store. Grab a drink from the repurposed bar and experience the current art installations then read about the demolition to make way for the $180 million QT hotel development. Tickets can be pre-purchased via eventbrite or available for $10 at the door.

Please note: from Friday 28 May, this event will move online. Access the self-guided tour online via the links below and wander at your leisure whenever Arthur Art Bar is open.
