1973 – 2023: Celebrating 50 Years of Queer Pride in South Australia

Adelaide’s first queer “Proud Parade” was held in 1973 and is of great significance in our state’s proud LGBTIQA+ history. In 2023 we celebrate this historic 50th anniversary as well as 20 years of the modern Pride March Adelaide with an insightful and robust panel discussion about what Pride means to our LGBTIQA+ community today. The panel will be hosted by Pride Adelaide Chair, Neil Clegg, and feature four diverse representatives from the LGBTIQA+ community – Will Sergeant, Charlotte Coulthard-Dare, Jenny Scott and Lorraine Tyler. Complimentary tea, coffee and fairy bread. Bar & meals available. Entry by donation.
